Video: Lucky Daye – That’s You

With his most recent release, “That’s You,” Lucky Daye has made an official comeback. To help him with the song, he enlisted the best in the business. In addition to seasoned hitmaker D’Mile, 16-time Grammy winner Bruno Mars co-wrote and co-produced the new R&B release.

Directed by Nick Walker, the accompanying music video, which debuted on Wednesday, November 1, depicts the seductive tale of Daye and her lover. During a stroll across town, the New Orleans musician meets attractive women; things finally take a spooky turn.

Daye begins the song with the line, “On the record, Money, diamonds, house in different cities/ I’m livin’ my wildest dreams.” “Crooked smile, I’m in control and I can do anything I want, but I’m empty.” The bad guys have them, using them as movie props to create a scene. You are aware of the rules, but do you really understand them?
