Kai Cenat and A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie collaborated on a new music video for the song “Did Me Wrong.” In the video, which was made public on Tuesday (October 24), Boogie talks about her past unhealthy relationship.

Shots of the artist depict him being used as a puppet by a masked woman, evoking his debut mixtape Artist. Indeed, there are a few scenes in the film that seem to honour some of his earlier album covers, such Hoodie SZN and Artist 2.0.

In the video, Boogie is seen struggling to maintain control over his movements while an unidentified person plans to kill him with a knife. In one moment, the rapper from New York City records his song, and the Twitch streamer appears in the film as well.

S.Dot & 254Bodi produced the song “Did Me Wrong.” The song uses a sample of “Ike Mood 1” by Isaac Hayes, which was recorded at the storied Stax Records studio in Memphis. The song and the video have the same concept in terms of lyrics. The Highbridge artist tries to defend himself and his limits while recalling a terrible broken romance. Boogie also responds to critics and those preparing his demise.

“Did Me Wrong” is a track on the September 8th-released EP B4 BOA. In addition to “Did Me Wrong,” the project also included “Her Birthday” and “Booby Trap.”
