It’s been claimed that “History is written by the victors,” which means that narratives of the past aren’t always founded on facts, but rather on those who obtained the power to create the narratives themselves. This suggests that historical reports aren’t always accurate. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the murals in Diamond D’s most recent single, “Bodied,” say a lot about the artist.

A well-known rapper and activist named David Banner and an artist signed to Dymond Mine Records named BIGREC assault the track, and Edson Sean contributes an appealing hook. This visual, which was directed by Tommy Nova and offers a gritty look at the most recent track from the star-studded album The Diam Piece 2, which was published earlier this year, was nominated for a Grammy Award.
