A day before the album’s release, Tim shared his thoughts on the project in a post on his Instagram page, he wrote, “It has been a joy writing these songs and I cannot wait to share them with you. “It’s finally here! The Album we’ve all been waiting for. I can’t wait for you all to experience what I experienced writing these songs. It’s been a Blessing Family!”, The 12 soul-lifting, spirit-filled tracks on the album are all dedicated to giving thanks, praise, and worship to God.

The tracks include; Looking Out For Me, Greater, Shine, God Turned It Around, My Hands, Follow You, Imela, Dependable God, Idinma, Dependable God, Do It Again, Worship Chant, and Covenant Keeping God.

Out of the 12 tracks, the award-winning artist featured other gospel artists in nine tracks while he solo on the other three tracks. The album, ‘Greater‘ combines contemporary and traditional gospel music, with songs that express themes of faith, hope, and perseverance.

The album’s ‘Worship Chant’ track is a stage performance in which the Nigerian southeastern language, Igbo, is used to hail and eulogize God. Tim Godfrey’s powerful vocals and energetic delivery are on full display, as are the backing singers and the production quality in this track’s delivery.

His collaboration with American singer Todd Dulanley on the track “Greater,” is a testimony to the power of God that helps build hope in God. The song is an anthem of inspiration and hope for many which helps describe how great the name Of God is . In the lyrics, “Jesus your name is greater/Your name is greater/Greater than allThere is nothing you cannot do/There is nothing impossible/You will do wat no man can do/You’re greater than all/greater than all/Your name is greater/Than any other” is an reassurance to the listeners, inspiring them to have faith and trust in God.

The album’s “Idinma” track, which featured popular singer Nathaniel Bassey and American singer Tim Bowman Jr., is another electrifying one. “Idinma” is a word from the Igbo language of Nigeria and means “You are Good.” With strong vocals that convey the spirit of African gospel music and a dynamic arrangement, the song is a lovely expression of worship.

The album’s “Follow Follow” track, which features the gospel singer Greatman Takit, is distinct from the other songs. The song encourages listeners to rely on God’s spiritual leadership and adhere to his instructions and word. On stage, it combines the traditional sounds of Amapiano and Afro-gospel music to produce a singular and uplifting musical experience.

The worship song “Dependable God” shows how the listeners should rely on God in the face of challenges and difficulties in life. In the song, the singer exhorts listeners to trust in God’s love and grace and to turn to Him for guidance and support in all situations.
