The official music video for YG and Tyga’sPerk 10” collaboration has been made available.

The two West Coast rappers are shown ruling the late-night streets in the music video, which was directed by Austin Simkins. The visual enhances the party-ready sound as it switches from black and white to night vision.

The rapper from Compton raps, “I got a Perc’ 10 on me right now, right now, right now, right now,” on the catchy hook. You can tell I’m vibin’ because I’m biting down repeatedly: “Bi**h, bite down, bite down, bite down, bite down.”

QuakeBeatz’s “Perk 10” is featured on the YG and Tyga collaboration album HIT ME WHEN U LEAVE THE KLUB: THE PLAYLIST.

In a statement following its release last month, the duo called HIT ME WHEN YOU LEAVE THE KLUB “an unforgettable compilation with vibes fit for a night out.” The album features Blxst, Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes, and a Snoop Dogg snippet over the course of its 14 songs.

To be honest, we kind of treated it like a mixtape. Around Coachella, we began developing it. Tyga explained to Numéro Netherlands that “we had like two houses out there, and then we had a party vibe, and some days we would work, some days we wouldn’t work.”

“So that set the mood, and once we entered the studio, we just went rolling. But we actually took a mixtape approach to it. We didn’t want to overly conceptualise it or do anything of the such. Yo, let’s grab some decent beats, we just said. Like when people fell in love with us, let’s keep it lighthearted. It evoked memories of high school. We aimed to convey such feelings. The idea came from the desire to unite LA-based artists. Just being able to play the game for more than ten years and wondering, “How come we’ve never done something together?” Let’s get moving. Much of the inspiration came from that.

“The idea and inspiration for this project was just to make something enjoyable,” YG continued. We wished to produce additional moments. You know, Tyga and I have collaborated on a lot of successful songs. Hip-hop has a lot of moments that we invented. We simply thought that it was time to work on a bigger project as a group because we are both from the same city and are both involved in rap. We discussed it for a long time. It means a lot that we both finally found the chance to sit down and finish it.
