In the music video for their “I Think” collaboration, EST Gee and Lil Baby team up.
The video, which was directed by Cash Jundi, shows the southern representatives glistening in the metropolis. The two musicians continue their poetic exhibition as they join forces at the top of the music venue in the dead of night.
The catchy chorus of the song rhymes with the lyrics, “I ain’t kneel or bow/ I ain’t pretend, I vow/ Managed to win someway.” The Kentucky native.
The Atlanta number-one song adds “Told me they was gon’ fall through, I waited ’round, they flaked on me/’Posed to be my dog, but you tell broads that you gon’ take from me,” he wrote in his guest stanza.
I Think” can be found on EST Gee’s most recent album El Toro 2, which is the follow-up to his 2019 mixtape El Toro. The rapper, 29, also just dropped El Toro: The Short Film, a 10-minute film that symbolically examines how Gee is adjusting to life following the passing of his mother, a tragedy that occurred before the rapper’s career as a musician.
The video depicts the journey of a young man who must decide between right and wrong, as stated in a press release. The protagonist battles with the mental agony of losing his mother and the guilt of not being able to save her, as metaphorically depicted throughout the movie.
