If a rapper wants to establish themselves as a permanent fixture in the hip-hop industry–or, for that matter, in any creative industry–creativity is absolutely necessary. To tell you the truth, it appears like the video team for Young Thug‘s song “Wyclef Jean,” which is inspired by the band the Fugees and can be found on the album Jeffery, felt compelled to dig deep into their nontraditional thought process for the song.

The humorous rap artist from Atlanta is heard in the beginning of the song video outlining the aesthetic he envisions for the music video. On the basis of this audio, it appears as though the treatment will produce a nice result; nevertheless, this was not at all the case.

First, the police officers watch as half-naked women use baseball bats to demolish a police car, and then they make a threat to halt the production of the video. After that, solicitors step in to defend Young Thug and the production team from the allegations. The rumour going around is that Thug actually turned up 10 hours late and refused to film his scene because he believes that his Instagram account was hijacked. Instead of discarding the material, director Ryan Staake decided to write a scene-by-scene commentary, which resulted in a music video that was both amusing and unique.

It was reported earlier this month that Young Thug will be joining Drake on the 6 God’s Boy Meets World tour. The tour is called “6 God’s Boy Meets World.”
