Tamika Scott is acting independently and taking center stage.

Following “SWV & Xscape” With her new single “Tonight,” the founding member of Xscape has begun her solo journey following the conclusion of “Queens of R&B.”

The upbeat track, which features the hip-hop icon Method Man and the R&B veteran, explores themes of resetting and “doing me” while beginning a new chapter of love for oneself and another.

The newly opened up video for the tune, which was coordinated by Picture Perfect, sees the pair exhibit on-screen science as a thing.
