Video: Jessie Reyez, 6LACK – Imported

The fact that Jessie Reyez has not slowed down in any way is made clear by her most recent single and music video, “Imported,” which features 6lack.

The two are shown going about their day in the music video that was directed by Zac Facts. At the same time, the sexual tension between them is rising and ‘what-if’ thoughts are running through their heads. In the video, the Canadian musician can be seen releasing her anger while splashing around in a bathtub. Last year, she published her extended play (EP) titled Being Human In Public. Similar expressions of irritation and frustration may be seen on 6lack’s face when he drives a vintage automobile. Will they give in to the allure of their temptations or will they resist?

“Get over them by getting under me,” the vocalist from “Figures” adds. The Atlanta musician is a wonderful addition to the track, which is a re-release of a track available on her EP and originally included JRM. The track also has JRM in its original version.

“You’re in love with somebody else,” they croon to the audience. “It’s possible that I could be of some assistance.”

Ms. Reyez will be performing at Diplo’s Mad Decent Block Party Festival, and she will also be joining Anderson on his Best Teef In The Game tour.Paak. We are keeping our fingers crossed that these recent appearances, in conjunction with the new song, signal the beginning of a more significant musical announcement from her.
