Video: DDG – Love Myself ft. Kevin Gates

The seventh single from DDG’s second studio album, It’s Not Me, It’s You, features Kevin Gates. The song “Love Yourself” serves as a reminder to put yourself first before putting everything you have into helping someone else. The film, which was directed by Diesel Films, features Gates and DDG at a mansion with bikini-clad ladies as destruction occurs far away.

The track has a laid-back, calm vibe thanks to the strong bass and guitar strings combined. “Dealing with past traumas, patternistic in nature/ Healing to break the cycle/ Been a bit commitment shy, but I’m willing to make you my love/ You’ve been undecided lately, but I’m willing to make your mind up,” begins Gates’ melodically rap.
