Amazon Music invited Coco Jones, an R&B songstress and actor, to participate in their “Credit the Culture” series of live concerts as part of their celebration of Black Music Month.
Coco delivered a live version of her newest hit “Love is War” in a red velvet lounge with a live band that complemented her distinctive and seductive vocals. Not only via the lyrics of her ballads, but also through the bellows of her ballads, Coco reveals her true level of vulnerability.
The lyrics “Love is war, me against you” are sung by her. I am aware that you have scars; I, too, have scars. Too far (oh), too long, and we’ve traveled too far/ Too deep, I’ll wave the white flag and miss you.”
The actress grew up in Nashville, Tennessee, with a singer for a mother and a former NFL player for a father. As a result, she has never been afraid of the limelight. Coco may be seen starring as a redesigned version of Hilary Banks in Peacock and Bel-Air, the new version of the Fresh Prince franchise. Before then, Coco had a recurrent role in Disney’s musical sketch comedy, So Random!, and she played the love interest in Disney’s Let It Shine. Both of these roles were for Disney. She is now on the next leg of her path as a blossoming R&B phenomenon whom people should keep an eye out for.
I’ve been performing since I was a kid, so my fans have witnessed a lot of changes in me through the years. “I hope that they see my journey and think to themselves, ‘wow, that took Coco a long time, maybe it’s alright for my path to take a long time too,'” she said of her new track. “I hope they see my journey and think to themselves, ‘wow, that took Coco a long time.
